The formation of a relationship. What attracts us to each other. Look for spiriturality. If she's pretty, can cook, well that's just a bonus. If he's handsome and a good provider, wonderful. Look for a strong committment to Jesus. Then we go through the courtship, how they deal with problems (little foxes) in the early relationship, the wedding, and wedding night. Then we get to the married couple: their first fight, how to resolve conflicts. A good book and should be on your bookshelf. He cites a survey which concludes "... that 80 percent of relationships in which the couples were living together without marriage vows end in separation. Sixty percent of those who are married by a justice of the peace are divorced later. Forty percent of those who are married in churches eventually divorce. And those who read their Bibles together daily divorce only at the rate of 1 out of 1,050!"

   • The Brethren John Grisham -- A story with no good guys? Hmm... A twisted plot involving, three judges, prison, scams, intrigue, excitement and mystery. I guess that makes it a mystery!

Also from Andrea is Slovene Complete Course: A Complete Course for Beginners (Teach Yourself). My friends from Slovenia gave me this. :-)

8. Lonely Planet Rocky Mountains (2nd Edition) by Nicko Goncharoff et. al. -- You'd probably like to tell me that the Rocky Mountains have nothing to do with Slovenia, huh? Well, I know something that you don't know!!! It comes highly praised by two special people who visited me from Slovenia.
   

1. Of Plymouth Plantation: 1620-1647 by William Bradford (Four Stars)
   Read about the history of the Pilgrims as you didn't learn it in school. For example, the first year, the crops were divided equally among the people no matter how much they worked. (Sound anything like Communism to you?) It failed miserably. Then, Bradford decided to give each family their own land. They could decide what to produce, how much to charge for it, etc. It was a great success. More crops were produced than in the earlier years. • I Believe the Promise Darlene Zschech from Hillsongs, Australia. I struggled with Darlene's last name. How do you pronounce a name like that?! :-) I don't know what it's origin is, but you pronounce it every day when you go to the store. You ask "May I write a check?" That's how you say her last name. • The Cathedrals A Farewell Celebration. Their last one. I saw part of this as a special on TNN around Thanksgiving, 1999. You can get a movie of the whole shooterie from Gaither Music. It was cool. One of my favorites was This Old House. I remember hearing Tennessee Ernie Ford singing it on an old 45 record at my parent's theater. Wow. That was a long time ago.
  
• First Love by Paul Baloche. You can listen to Rock of Ages and the Happy Song, but my favorite is I have Kept the Faith. I LOVE it.
  
• King of Fools by Delirious. I heard History Maker for the first time, when we did a Jericho march around the University of Montana. It's a powerful song. Unfortunately, there is no Real Audio here. :-( Get it for your kids. They'll love you for it.

  Michael Bloomfield, Al Kooper & Steven Stills...Wow! (Say it backwards.) I bought this in college. I loved Harvey's Tune. It has a couple cuts in the movie Sneakers. It's a great album. I sold my copy of the record album. Big mistake. But now I have it again!!! It's got a song called Season of the Witch on it, so you may want to be careful though. (I didn't remember that one.) I think this was a late night jam session. It's really great. I give it FIVE STARS!!! *****
