Now, to add additional fun to the genealogical intrigue, Amelia, may really be named Margaret!!! Don't ya just LOVE it! We have two social security number applications by males with the right names listing their Mother's name as Margaret! So we're working on solving this problem. Perhaps as easy as Amelia Margaret, or Margaret Amelia!!! We don't know for sure.

Intrigue, part II. We found the Ship Manifest containing Amelia's (age 27) arrival in the U. S. She has daughters Amalia (7 months old), and Karolina (8 years old), who apparently were "NOB" (Not On Board) the ship when they arrived. Neither was Amelia!!! Her son, Ernst (4 years, 6 months) WAS!!!
