By my searching in the WWW I found the Home page from Terry J. Cestnik with a link to you and your letter to Terry. The german line of the Cestnik's are emigrated to germany at the end of the 19th century. My grand-grand father (I don't know his prename) has 1 son who was named Franz Cestnik. My grandfather Franz has married Elisa Wagner. They have two son's with the names Franz and Hans Herman Gerd.

Hans Cestnik was my father. He died at 1992. He was married with Ellen Cestnik, borned Larsch. He was a Dealer of music-instruments, but he workes as telephon-technical. They have four chields. Verena born 1942 died with 2 years. Franc born 1944. Verena born 1953 and myself Peter born 1955. Franc Cestnik have two son's named Dirk and Jorg without marrieing. From this line this is all what I knew. My father didn't tell me more about it. Perhaps my uncle Franz can tell you more. In the second world war my father would go back to jugoslavia but it was told him that lost the nationality soon.

In the german telephon book are 26 Persons who are named Cestnik. The pronounce Zesstnigg is correct but also in germany the most people can't speak it correctly. They say chestnick etc.
